Career Loans Program Benefits:

The Career Loans program is designed to assist skilled newcomers like yourself, who have international experience and want to return to your profession or explore an alternative career path in the same field. Eligible members will receive free career and financial counselling from our experts. If desired, program members can also request a micro loan of up to $15,000 provided by our financial partner at HSBC.

  • Resident of Alberta or Saskatchewan

  • Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen, or Convention Refugee (immigrant living in Canada for less than 10 years)

  • Internationally Trained Professional in a regulated or non-regulated occupation or trade
