Career Loans provides micro loans up to $15,000 and free career counselling to immigrants in Saskatchewan, so you can get re-certified and return to the job you deserve.

Career Loans Program Key Features:

Career Loans is specifically designed for professionals like you, who have international experience and want to return to your field, or explore an alternative career path in the same field.

Our micro loans can be used towards education, training, exam or licensing fees, credential assessment, supplies and other materials to help you get started.

To be eligible, you have to be a:

  • Resident of Saskatchewan
  • Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen, or Convention Refugee (immigrant living in Canada for less than 10 years)
  • Internationally Trained Professional in a regulated or non-regulated occupation or trade
